Focusing on Iraq’s strategic transformation and modernization goals in the energy sector, the 11th Iraq Energy Exhibition and Conference (Iraq Energy Expo & Conference) will be held from January 10 to 12, 2026, at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds. Covering electricity, oil, gas, and renewable energy, the event is being organized with the highest level of support from the Iraqi government.
Held under the official patronage of the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Electricity, the Ministry of Oil, and the National Investment Commission, the exhibition will bring together leading players of the global energy industry in Baghdad. The event, to be organized across a total exhibition area of 125,000 square meters and 16 halls, is expected to host more than 1,600 international exhibiting companies from over 90 countries. In addition, with 17 countries participating through national pavilions, the fair aims to welcome more than 40,000 energy professionals.
In line with Iraq’s vision to diversify its energy infrastructure and transition toward a low-carbon economy, the exhibition is structured around six main sectors:
Smart Solutions
Electricity Distribution
Renewable and Clean Energy
Power Generation
Energy Investments
Electricity Transmission
In addition to traditional fossil fuel technologies, the event will provide a platform with a strong focus on renewable energy generation, smart infrastructure systems, and energy management solutions.
The Iraq Energy Exhibition aims to strengthen the country’s position as a regional energy hub and to enhance cooperation between international investors and local institutions. With the participation of more than 500 high-level buyers expected, the event will host critical discussions on the financing of strategic projects, technology transfer, and the future of Iraq’s energy security.
